OUR PASTOR 

Pastor Winn was born to Percy Sr. and Ruth Winn in 1962 and was raised in Oakland, CA.  He graduated from Castlemont High School, also in Oakland, in 1981.  At a young age he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
 
Pastor Winn served as a deacon under the pastorship of Dr. Samuel Williams of the Trinity Baptist Church.  In 2006, under the leadership of Pastor Norman Bradley, he received his license to preach the gospel.  He was ordained in January 2010 and became the pastor of Greater Praise Christian Fellowship church in January 2011.
 
Pastor Winn has been married to his beautiful wife, Lady Elaine, for the past 24 years and moving forward together, they have one daughter.
 
Pastor Winn’s direction for Greater Praise Christian Fellowship is to be a church united in Christ.  He believes that united we can take the world for God. He also believes that God is first and if we follow God’s direction then we can boldly and courageously share the word of God.  Church is not a building or a place to meet, but it starts inside of us.  Church is who we are because it’s on the inside of each one of us.
 
Pastor Winn is always helping as many people as he can. He is truly a man after God’s own heart.
